Amoud El Deen Likong’o Project – Grand Opening

LIFT couldn’t do without the support of its donors and by the will of Allah (swt)

The Masjid and Madrassa were built with the generosity of our American friends in collaboration with the Lindi Islamic Foundation of Tanzania (LIFT) and the Likong’o community. This construction began on 06 February 2024 and was completed on 02 July 2025 at a cost of Tshs. 142,836,700/= (~ $55,000 USD).

LIFT will try to help the community manage, InShaAllah. And of course it hasn’t fell on deaf ears the need for a mortuary and house for teacher.

As the President of Tz says, “The work continues“.
