2022 was a more modest year, but alhamduallah we continued this program. In 2022 Lindi Islamic Foundation of Tanzania (LIFT) sacrificed 20 cows on behalf of donors in USA, UK, and Malaysia. The cows were distributed within the historically significant Kilwa District, including the islands of Kilwa Kisiwani and Songo Mnara. Kilwa is one of the districts within the Tanzania region of Lindi. We thank those who entrusted LIFT to carry out this important task. Imams from each area managed the sacrifice and distribution. The LIFT volunteers who oversaw this year’s program were Dr. Hamis Ajali, Mohamed Mswala, and Saidi Masudi. May Allah swt accept this sacrifice and the recipients enjoy their Eid.
